Helmets with the name "THE Certified" have a brilliant mix of dense EPS (styrofoam) and soft padded liners. Those squishy sweat soakers make helmets comfy and absorb sweat. They compress a little to conform to the shape of your head.
Once a helmet liner is too old, it stinks or the helmet doesn't fit - or both.
Don't throw out the helmet, just order a new one! Make sure to order the same size as your existing helmet.
